Children’s Museum of the Arts, New York, NY

Teaching Artist: 2015 - 2019 March

Design curriculum and facilitate public workshop, after school classes, and a weeklong new media art camp with kids ages 5-15. Supervise the weekend public programs and report to the director of the museum.

 

Teaching Artist for Inclusive Weekend Program: 2015 - 2018
Design curriculum and facilitate new media art workshops for children with autism. The Inclusive Weekend program is CMA’s award winning program recognized for excellence in Engaging Communities by the Museum of New York, April 2017. 

Mono No Aware, New York, NY

Instructor: 2013 - 2018
Facilitate 16mm filmmaking classes and super 8mm filmmaking classes for various age groups. Assist facilitating film screenings and college visits. 

Lafayette College, Easton, PA

Teaching Assistant for the Visiting Artist: October 2015 & October 2017

Assisted special workshops on 16mm filmmaking techniques include direct filmmaking, shooting on Bolex camera and B&W hand-processing. 

Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Boston, MA

Designed curriculum and facilitated direct filmmaking workshop, 16mm film sync sound editing workshop, B&W film hand-processing workshop and class viewing/discussion for sophomore students.

Museum of the Moving Image, Queens, NY

Museum Educator: 2013-2014
Provided gallery talks to the public. Facilitated workshops and events for school groups. Assisted with high school program teaching stop motion animation and game design principles to after school students. 

Cambridge Community Art Center, Cambridge, MA

Intern: Fall 2012
Assisted teaching teen video and photography class. Set up class materials, assisted technical workshops, and joined the class critique. 

Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Boston MA

Saturday Studio Teacher: Fall 2011
Created lesson plans for Art Expression class for a group of 17 children ages 10-12. Lessons included introduction to drawing and painting, found object sculptures and a class visit to the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
